My meal at Sushisamba has without a shadow of a doubt, made my top five dining experiences of all time. A beautiful day, great company and phenomenally good food made the overall experience of the birthday meal one thing, exceptional.
We ordered mouthwatering Wagyu beef gyoza (I am still thinking about these now!), pork ribs, calamari, melt in the mouth salmon skin and avocado hand rolls and assorted fish maki, followed by an incredibly indulgent green tea and white chocolate dessert.
Not even a hangover from the previous evening could affect the meal and afterwards we sat outside on a sofa for several hours with a glass of Veuve Clicquot, mulling over the meal and the escapades over the previous evening.
